Worth Every Penny!
You can't imagine my relief when I was to receive a call from the Sheriff's detectives that they had located my stolen laptop.
The detective told me that Absolute were very helpful.
I recommend this program to anyone who has a laptop.

Laptop Recovered
My Alienware laptop was stolen when my flat was broken into. The process of reporting the theft to Absolute was very simple and an investigator was appointed immediately. It is vital that you are able to provide as much information about the police investigation to the Absolute investigator to ensure that action can be taken as soon as possible.
It took a few weeks before my stolen laptop was connected to the Internet, but the Absolute investigator contacted me promptly and provided information directly to the lead investigator for the police.
The information provided by the Absolute investigator guided the police to the location of my stolen laptop and it was recovered and returned to me. The hard drive had been wiped and all my data had been lost in the re-installation of the operating system, but LoJack for Laptops continued to work after the re-installation of the operating system and continued to guide the police during their investigation.
Since then, I have bought an additional laptop and purchased a three-year licence for LoJack for Laptops at the time of purchasing the new laptop to ensure that it is covered by this great service too.
I fully recommend that LoJack for Laptops is installed on all laptops. Though there are no guarantees of stolen equipment being recovered, I was extremely satisfied with the service and the speed with which information was given to the police in order for them to take action.

Stolen Mac Returned
My Macbook Pro was stolen from my house just before Christmas. It is my school computer, and I was devastated to have lost it. Thankfully I had LoJack installed on the Mac, and it took less than sixty days for them to track down my computer even after the thieves had wiped the hard drive and sold it to someone else. The detective working on the case said that they never would have recovered my computer without LoJack. It is definitely worth the price, completely and totally worth the price. Take it from a police officer, he said that having LoJack was the best investment I could have made!

Couldn't be happier with loJack !
I purchased LoJack after starting university and thinking that it would probably be a good thing to have IF my laptop got stolen, I didn't think it was particularly expensive and was very easy to install. 1 year on and my laptop did get stolen, a massive pain as a university second year student away from home and not with much money to go out and immediately purchase a new one. I told the police about LoJack and they were able to communicate with LoJack and less then a week later my laptop was back.. Something I'm sure wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for this great software. Everyone should purchase this, worth every penny!

I recovered my laptop and received the congratulations of police tool that helped a lot because I used in investigations.
Even the thief having formatted the PC, he continued to be tracked!

it works
I've had my laptop stolen twice and recovered twice. It takes a little while and they had some trouble getting the exact location, but it's definitely been worth it

My laptop was retrieved!!
My home was burglarized in the first week of the year and I was completely traumatized! They took all our electronics, including my laptop that I use for my business.
I was able to lock my laptop remotely and as soon as I had the case number from the Police Dept, I put the laptop into recovery mode. In about a month, I received a notice telling me that my laptop was retrieved!!
I had about given up on ever getting it back. After hearing about my experience, one of my clients added Lojack for Laptops on his 6 company laptops. I wish I could put Lojack for Laptops on all my new computers and in my TVs as well. I'd never worry about being robbed again!

useful product/good company
I have no issues with this product or the company. My computer was recovered, albeit a bit late, which was ameliorated a bit by the company paying me a stipend for not recovering my computer within their 60-day time limit. I was very impressed about this. The extended time that it took them to recover my computer was most likely caused by reluctance of local police authorities to "get off the dime."
